About Us
The Facilities Management Unit(FMU) strives to establish and uphold workplaces that are not only highly productive and functional but also safe and visually appealing. This commitment is dedicated to serving the Government of Trinidad and Tobago across all sites that facilitate the operations of the Diego Martin Borough Corporation (DMBC). The unit holds the overarching responsibility for procuring and maintaining the Corporation’s buildings, ensuring their optimal functionality and upkeep.
Purpose
To Ensure the provision and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. Conduct maintenance and repair, undertake refurbishment and renewal and provide for replacement of public infrastructure.
What We Manage
The management of the following locations falls under the purview of the FMU:
- Diego Martin Borough Corporation buildings in all locations
- Community Centers within the Borough of DMBC
- Government and Government-assisted Schools within the Borough of DMBC
- Health Centers within the Borough of DMBC
- Parks and Rec Grounds within the Borough of DMBC
