Diego Martin Borough Corporation
The Diego Martin Borough Corporation, established in 1990, is a local government entity in Trinidad and Tobago responsible for governing and delivering services in the Diego Martin region. Its elected Mayor and Councillors oversee various aspects of local administration, including public health, sanitation, infrastructure maintenance, and community development. The Corporation serves as a platform for community engagement, enabling residents to voice their concerns and needs, while also managing its budget and resources to fund local projects and services. This local government body plays a pivotal role in addressing the specific requirements of the Diego Martin region and fostering representation at the grassroots level.
Vision
We see ourselves as the most successful Regional Corporation in Trinidad in the delivery of services to our stakeholders through our highly motivated and well-trained staff. We will strive to be democratic autonomous and financially viable organization, central to the lives of the burgesses who choose to live, work and conduct business in the Region of Diego Martin.
Mission
We exist to serve burgesses and to promote their welfare/well-being by efficiently and effectively delivering infrastructural facilities, social amenities, and primary health care services in a timely manner. We encourage responsible Local Democracy, sustainable economic development and growth of the Region while protecting and enhancing the physical environment.
